Returns & Refund Policy for House of Bachwaa
At House of Bachwaa, we take pride in crafting unique, personalized pet portraits and high-quality toys designed to delight your furry friends. Due to the custom nature of our products, we have the following policies to ensure fairness to both our customers and artists.
CUSTOM PET PORTRAITS
1. No Refunds/Returns for Personalized Artwork
Each portrait is handcrafted uniquely for you, which means we cannot offer refunds or returns once the order is finalized. If you’re unsatisfied with your portrait, contact our customer support team within 14 days of delivery, and we’ll work with you to make adjustments until you’re happy. After 14 days, no refunds or exchanges will be granted.
2. Defective or Damaged Portraits
If your portrait arrives damaged, has printing errors, or is the wrong size, we’ll replace it free of charge. Contact us immediately (ideally within 48 hours of delivery) with photos of the issue to arrange a replacement.
PET TOYS
1. Returns for Defective/Damaged Toys
While our toys are designed for durability, if your item arrives defective or damaged, contact us within 14 days of delivery for a free replacement. Returns may require proof of damage.
2. Non-Defective Toys
Due to hygiene and safety concerns, we cannot accept returns for toys that have been used or opened.
CANCELLATIONS
1. 24-Hour Cancellation Window
You may cancel your order free of charge within 24 hours of placing it. After 24 hours, cancellations are granted at our discretion, as our artists may have already started working on your portrait.
2. Cancellation Fees
- After 24 hours: A 30% cancellation fee applies (artist time/effort).
- After proof approval: A 50% cancellation fee applies (even if within 24 hours).
- Once in production: No cancellations allowed.
PHOTO QUALITY RESPONSIBILITY
- We use the exact photo you upload. Ensure it follows our guidelines: high resolution, clear, and well-lit.
- Blurry or low-quality photos result in lower-quality portraits. No refunds are issued for dissatisfaction due to poor-quality source images.
REFUND PROCESS
Approved Refunds/Replacements
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- For replacements, we’ll ship a new item once the issue is confirmed.
Late/Missing Refunds
- Check with your bank/payment provider first (processing times vary).
- If unresolved, contact us at support@housofbachwaa.com
GIFT CARDS & SALE ITEMS
- Gift cards and sale/discounted items are non-refundable.
