1. Do you include humans in your portraits?
Absolutely! At House of Bachwaa, we celebrate the bond between pets and their humans. Our Renaissance-style portraits are designed to immortalize your entire family—fur, feathers, scales, and all!
2. Are your portraits only for cats and dogs?
Nope! We create art for all pets—hamsters, parrots, horses, chameleons, fish, and even the most exotic companions. If you love them, we’ll feature them!
3. Can I add names to the portrait?
Yes! Select the“Engrave Names”option at checkout, and we’ll artistically include your pet’s and family members’ names in the design.
4. How do I know if my photo is suitable?
Follow ourPhoto Guidelinesfor best results:
✅Natural lighting: Daylight ensures vibrant colors and clarity.
✅Eye-level shots: Capture your pet’s unique features (ears, whiskers, etc.).
✅High resolution: Blurry or pixelated photos won’t translate well.
If your image isn’t suitable, we’ll email you for a replacement (may delay delivery by a few days).
5. Can you edit out backgrounds or objects?
We can handle cluttered backgrounds, but aplain backdropworks best. Minor edits (e.g., drool, red-eye) are possible, but we can’t add missing features (closed mouths, ears).
6. Are the portraits hand-painted?
Our portraits aredigitally craftedby talented artists. Think of it as a modern twist on classic art!
7. Can I make changes after ordering?
Yes! Request adjustments within24 hoursof uploading your photo. After that, changes depend on artist progress.
8. What canvas sizes do you offer?
- 8x10”: Perfect for cozy spaces or gifts.
- 12x16”: A crowd-pleaser for showcasing your pet’s majesty.

9. Can I add accessories to the portrait?
Photograph your pet wearing the accessory (hats, bowties, etc.), and we’ll include it!Pro tip:Remove collars for a cleaner look.
10. Can I use a black-and-white photo?
Yes! We’ll match the artwork to your B&W image. Note:We can’t add color later, so double-check your preference!
Shipping & Delivery
1. How long does production take?
- Artwork creation: 2–5 business days (we’ll send a digital proof for approval).
- Delivery after approval:
- USA: 5–14 business days
- Canada/Europe/Australia: 7–24 business days
- Rest of World: 14–28 business days
2. What are the shipping costs?

3. Will multiple artworks arrive together?
Usually, yes! Occasionally, pieces ship separately but arrive close together.
4. Do you provide tracking?
Yes! You’ll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.
5. What if my order is returned to sender?
Contact us immediately! We’ll reship it if the error was ours. Address errors on your end may require re-shipping fees.
6. What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and PayPal.
Refunds & Returns
1. What if I haven’t received my digital proof?
Check your spam folder! If it’s been7 days, email [support@houseofbachwaa.com]—we’ll resolve it ASAP.
2. Can I get a refund?
Due to the custom nature of our portraits, we don’t offer refunds. However:
- Damaged/incorrect orders: We’ll replace them free of charge.
- Dissatisfaction: Contact us! If the issue stems from a low-quality photo (per our guidelines), we can’t guarantee a resolution.
3. What if I don’t like my portrait?
Email us! If the issue is our fault (e.g., artist error), we’ll redo it.Note:Poor-quality photos void this guarantee.
4. Can I cancel my order?
- Within 24 hours: Full cancellation, no fees.
- After 24 hours: 30% fee (covers artist time).
- After proof approval: 70% fee.
- Once printed: No cancellations.
Photo Quality Responsibility
Low-resolution/blurry images result in lower-quality art and disqualify refunds.
All website examples use high-quality photos—yours should too!
